The few times I've taken part in PFF, the hardest part was deciding what card to highlight for that week. Today was no exception. I had three laid out, a black and white of Coco Chanel ready to go, but then this one called out to me, the 'spring like' colors, the birds.
This vintage postcard is dated May 28, 1913 (my scanner in is on the fritz so I had to photograph the card).
As for the back, I can make very little of it out.
Looks to read;
Dear Bro and Wife,
Just a few lines to let you know all are well. Hope you are the same. I am very busy cleaning house. Will write a letter....(then it becomes very illegible).
I believe it's signed 'Hattie'.

Lovely card. Can you read the back? The stories they tell! Happy PFF, my friend!
No, I can't make the back out very well.
What a perfectly lovely postcard! I LOVE it! Ah, the stories they could tell...thank you for joining us!
Happy PFF!
I couldn't decipher it either, though it does look like it's signed by "Hattie".
Beautiful card, and I love seeing the writing on the back. I always do! There's something so appealing about it, like you're holding a tiny piece of history.
Happy PFF!
Love the birds, and the landscape vignette. I always like these older cards.
The text on this nice card made me realize that in 1913 cleaning your house took much more time than today. And that Hattie's last sentence was probably unreadable in 1913 too. Happy PFF!
Pretty card. I can't make out the words either, Hattie must have been rushing to finish off her cleaning.
Happy Spring! I can't tell for sure, but that looks like a winter scene.
Nope, it's definitely spring. That little window (though is may look like snow) shows sheep in a meadow, with budding trees. :-)
What a cute writing, very simple message but touching.
Card is lovely too.

I can see exactly why this card called out to you! I love the little glimpse into someone else's life you find in the message.
