Are you prepared???

As it turns out, though we had plans to host Christmas eve dinner (as we often do), it has been taken out of our hands. After my initial anger, I just had to breathe and let it go (though I'll admit I haven't quite 'let it go' yet lol).

I'm trying to look at it like this....Though I love to entertain (and get to do it so rarely), by not hosting Christmas eve dinner hubby and I won't have to clean house, cook for half the day, or have a mess to clean up. And instead of sitting around several hours later, exhausted and wishing that people would go home, we'll be able to leave when we want to. I should be thankful right? ;-)
