Friday Freebie - Vintage Music

The first Friday Freebie of the new year, and the first one here at Noteworthy Musings.

This music comes from the book, Advanced Ear-Training and Sight-Singing, copyright 1922. It is scanned at 300dpi for best overall quality, and is free to use in your personal art work. My only stipulations with the freebies are that they not be claimed as your own, and that they never be combined and sold in collections or in collage sheet form.

I'm sitting here today working out the merging of two blogs.

It's something that I've been considering since last November. I've tried to keep separate blogs for separate interests, but I no longer have the desire, or the time.

My art blog, WhatDoYouMeanByArt, was started as a way to showcase the work I did while taking part in online challenges. It kept my art work separate from my regular blog, which I had been convinced by others better versed in blogging, that that was how it was done.

Since I no longer take part in the challenges (most of them are defunct now), and I'm too busy with my art, Etsy shop, life, to maintain three blogs (yes I said three - I also have a photography blog), it's time for a change.

And with a few years of blogging under my own belt, it recently hit me smack in the side of the head...I'm a part of all the things that I enjoy, that I do, that I love. Art is only one of them. I am not a split personality (well, for the most part lol).

Designing and creating are as much a part of my every day life as breathing. I know other artists who have come to that same conclusion. We are all a sum of our parts. We are who we are because of those parts, not in spite of them.

WhatDoYouMeanByArt will remain the name of my Etsy shop, but the blog, poof, eventually deleted from blogdom forever (as soon as I can get the merging thing figured out lol).

If you are one of my followers (at any of my blogs), I hope that you'll stick around. I appreciate your support, comments, and friendship. I truly enjoy those of you who converse with me on a daily (or weekly) basis. :-)

And remember, however you choose to blog, be it at one blog that showcases the entire you, or at several where you can concentrate on different interests and desires individually....enjoy the ride. The main idea is to have fun.
