Anthropologie is known for their window displays......This one went up around Thanksgiving and I loved it so much that I've spent the past three weeks (with an inadequate lens - no longer focuses well) trying to get some decent photographs. All of the windows around the storefront are decorated, but the two main windows are winter scenes, complete with trees, snow, deer and birds. The entire thing is made of paper (click on the first picture to view it slightly larger).
This deer and several cardinals are in the second winter scene....
I'm completely insane, but I'm cutting out paper trees of my own, placing them in the opening between our kitchen and family room. I figure I can leave them up throughout winter. Stay tuned. I'll try and post pictures when I get it completed,
if I get it completed.

I don't think you even a little bit insane. The cut-out paper trees in your own home sound just right.
