Barn Charm #73

I took this photograph last summer, and though I know roughly where the barn is located I probably couldn't find it again if someone asked me to. It caught my eye because of how skeletonized it is. Off to the right a cattle feeding barn was constructed at some time, but even it isn't in that great of shape.

I accidentally caught a sun flare, something that used to be frowned upon in photography, but that is gaining widespread popularity in both digital and lomography circles. For some this would be considered a 'happy accident'. lol



I couldn't decide which photo to use so I'm posting in both color and black and white. Usually I shoot both, especially when photographing barns, but for some reason I didn't this time out.

One thing I prefer about the black and white is how the light really shows through the roof. Although it does make it sadly obvious how rough of shape this building is in. I doubt it will remain standing for long.
